Background:

Park Gate, founded in 2004, specialises in Mortgage and Insurance Protection, sought to revitalise its website and brand in 2020. Kevin Saunders, Managing Director, initially self-designed the website, and later wanted it refreshed professionally. Upon seeking a design agency, Kevin chose Hangar47, having been shocked at costs quoted by other agencies.

Having looked at other work that Hangar47 had delivered, Kevin felt comfortable entering into a business relationship with them, knowing that they had the skills and knowledge to deliver exactly what he needed.

The Brief & Execution
Kevin wanted a website that was not only fresh and engaging but also informative and competitive, with the addition of a new Mortgage Calculator. Hangar47 offered template and imagery options, while Kevin supplied content, adhering to industry regulations. Though the existing Park Gate logo was retained, adjustments like word spacing and colour-coded product categories were introduced for visual enhancement. Hangar47 developed a user-friendly Mortgage Calculator with their coding skills and launched a fully functional new website promptly. Subsequently, Hangar47 was entrusted with managing Park Gate’s social media marketing.

Client’s Words:

“I immediately knew when I met with Aleks and Hayley that they were experts in what they do.” “I was quite specific about what content I wanted on the website and how I wanted it to be displayed and the team were excellent at guiding me with their technical knowledge about how we best executed it. I was really impressed with the outcome!” “Like many businesses we don’t want to be spending huge amounts on marketing costs, but I would certainly say that the service and quality of what we received was extremely cost effective and I’d highly recommend Hangar47.”

Outcome:
Post the January 2020 website launch, and amidst the challenges posed by Covid19, Kevin, and Hangar47, directed efforts towards a paid advertising campaign, focusing on Protection and Income Protection products, foreseeing potential in new business opportunities within the Protection sector amidst global health realisations.

“Protection has always been a harder product to sell but with the realisation in 2020 that just about anyone can get ill, now is a great time to target new business. We hope that with our social media campaign, we can really target an audience that the product will resonate with.”
